This is a digital photography project based on a slow and intuitive preparation process. The artist begins with a walk, collecting natural fragments—bark, leaves, pods—that evoke a response when touched or present. These objects are photographed in natural light, emphasizing their textures and surfaces.
The printed images are cut out and layered into physical collages resembling masks. Some fragments are returned to nature, while others are carefully stored in boxes as open forms. No digital compositing is used: fragmentation and transformation are done entirely by hand. This process allows the material and form to reveal their transience and delicacy, creating quietly changing images.
